With low shear, strong self-priming, and precise metering capabilities, our Sanitary Lobe Pump provides a safe, stable, and highly efficient fluid handling solution for the food, dairy, pharmaceutical, and daily chemical industries.
Key Features
- Utilizes non-contacting dual rotors (single, bi-lobe, tri-lobe, multi-lobe, or butterfly lobes) rotating synchronously without metal-to-metal contact. Gentle pumping preserves the integrity of fruit pieces, meat dices, jellies, or fragile particulates.
- Delivers strong positive displacement performance with excellent pressure capabilities, handling viscosities ranging from 1 mPa·s up to 1,000,000 mPa·s. Features excellent self-priming ability and bi-directional (reversible) operation.
- All wetted parts are constructed from 316L / 304 stainless steel with smooth polished surfaces (Ra ≤ 0.8μm / 0.4μm) and zero dead-leg zones. Fully compliant with 3-A, FDA, and EHEDG standards, supporting CIP and SIP protocols.
- Equipped with high-performance sanitary mechanical seals (single or double with flushing). Offers flexible customization, including heating/cooling jackets, explosion-proof motors, mechanical variators, VFD controllers, or mobile cart assemblies.

Operating Principles

- Rotor pump is also named rotary lobe pump, three-lobe pump, sole pump, etc. When the two rotors (with 2-4 gears) simultaneously reverse rotate, it produces a suction force at the inlet(vacuum), which intakes the material delivered.
- The 2 rotors divide the rotor housing into many smaller parts and revolve in the sequence of a→b→c→d.
- When it comes to position A, only housing I is filled with medium.
- When it comes to position B, housing B encloses part of the medium.
- When it goes to position C, housing A encloses medium, and finally it goes to position D, then housing A, B and II are interlinked and the medium is transported to the outlet. As this process is repeated, the medium(material)is continuously transported.
