VCP Series Sanitary Vacuum / Negative Pressure Centrifugal Pump
Engineered specifically for high-vacuum and low-inlet-pressure operating conditions. The VCP Series sanitary negative pressure centrifugal pump features an extremely low NPSHr and superior vacuum-resistant sealing technology. It reliably extracts liquids from vacuum evaporators, concentrators, and degassers—making it the ideal choice for vacuum processing in food and pharma industries.
Key Features & Highlights
- Optimized impeller and inlet hydraulics drastically reduce the Net Positive Suction Head required (NPSHr). Even under near-boiling, low-inlet-pressure, or high-vacuum conditions (up to -0.09 MPa or higher), it maintains continuous, smooth, and cavitation-free operation.
- Utilizes specialized single or double mechanical seals with a flushing/barrier fluid system tailored for vacuum conditions. This prevents ambient air ingress into the vacuum system, maintaining vacuum stability while ensuring zero liquid leakage or contamination.
- All wetted parts are made of high-grade AISI 316L stainless steel with precision-polished internal surfaces (Ra ≤ 0.4μm / 0.8μm) and zero dead-leg geometry. Fully compliant with 3-A, FDA, and EHEDG standards, supporting Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilize-in-Place (SIP).
- Combining dynamically balanced components with heavy-duty bearing support, it minimizes vibration and noise during negative-pressure suction, significantly extending the service life of the pump and mechanical seals.
Materials
- The vacuum pump body, pump cover, and impeller, which is contact with the medium material, are made of stainless steel SUS316L and SUS304
Electric Motor
- The configuration of the “ABB” brand three-phase AC motor is in accordance with the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC60034. IEC60072 standard design complies with European “CE” marking requirements
- The explosion-proof motor is also available, which can meet the requirements of different applications.
- It has excellent electric performance, with low noise and vibration. The protection grade is IP55, insulation grade is F.
